Key Partners

1) Hospitals and clinics

Since hospitals is a place where various disease are being exposed to patients, using Nosk should become one of their necessity in improving their condition. We can become their supplier since Nosk should be worn not only by patients but to hospital staffs as well.

2) Pharmacy

Nosk is one of health-related products so, it is suitable to be sold in pharmacies. Beside not having chemicals contained, Nosk has also won many international awards such as 2007 IFIA ECO Prize, 2008 GENEN VA GOLD Medal, 2007 Germany Gold Medal and etc. Hence, if it is approved by our ministry of health, this product can be freely displayed and sold in any pharmacies

3) Stores or Shops

Nosk is a very handy product and it is suitable to be displayed anywhere. Since not many places have pharmacies, for the sake of customer’s convenient, they can go to the nearest store to find and purchase our product.

Key activities

1) Exhibition

Exhibition can be done all over the country whether it is attached to other events or we can create the event for Nosk’s exhibition ourselves. During the exhibition, we can even distribute some samples to the public to gain their awareness about the existence of this product, and we can explain the details.

2) Exposures

During universities, graduation for example , we can grab the opportunities to open a booth to expose to the students, parents, lecturers and the communities about Nosk. We can attract them by giving a simple speech and descriptions about Nosk and sell them at a special price. Besides, we can even go for a trip to schools to give some speech to the students and relocate some of our products to give to the students for free for them to try on. We can even do the ‘Question and Answer’ session to help them answering their enquiries and improve our services.

3) Sponsorship and Scholarship

After our product become a big hit , we can become a sponsor to some big events to create names, making our product more popular than ever. We can even give some selected smart students who are taking business course to continue their further studies and then contribute to our company. Therefore we can also gain outstanding human resources to ensure the continuity of our product in business industry and our efficiency can always be improved with their fresh, new and bright ideas.

·        The sources are necessary to support and sustain the business. Key resources can be in terms of human, intellectual, financial and physical.

·      Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America is one of the organization that can be both benefit for Nosk socially and at the same time promoting Nosk.

·      For our product, Nosk to fulfil the requirement of our customer, a team of researches and designers is required to find the most suitable material for Nosk and design for perfect fit to people of all ages especially for 12-years old and above. How Nosk is designed, manufactured and distributed is also determined by group of people.

·      Strong bonds and well-selected channel retailers might be the key resources to a packaged goods like Nosk.

·      We also have to reconceived our supplier strategy choosing to outsource the highest percentages of Nosk’s material and use fewer vendors to reduce the transaction cost and achieve better economies of scale.

When a customer pay to have access to a product or a service. Our products can be subscribed by industrial construction company. Nosk can simply filters out any dust and chemical particles that may be breathed in thus making the workers susceptible to infection.

This revenue is generated from charging gees for product advertising. By advertising Nosk to increase strategy marketing for Nosk, advertising is necessary.

Customer Relationship

·           How to expose our product and promote them to the public?

1) Promotion

As this product is still very fresh and new to our country , we will be doing special promotion such as a certain percent of discount and buy a certain number of boxes, customer will get another one for free. The purpose of this promotion is to let customer try our products at a very low price to gain their trust to continuously purchase our product even at its normal price.

2) Exhibition

We will frequently do the exhibition and explanations regarding Nosk at chosen venues such as universities, schools as well as at other health events.

3) Advertisement

Allocation for advertisement will also be put aside to attract customers through our flyers , television , online medias , magazines, newspapers and etc. This is to make our product gets popular among Malaysians.

1) Online

Through our blogs , website as well as facebook, people from our country can place their orders and ask their enquiries regarding our products. We will also update them about our latest product information or event.

As for calls, it functions the same as online as all calls be recorded for orders and equiries at our official phone numbers.

We will reply to any relevant enquiries and orders (through customer’s letters) posted at our official address which can be found through internet or our flyers.

Through mass media such as television , magazines , newspapers and etc. We will convey our messages, product information as well as our events and we will update customers at least every month.

Value composition

1) Advantages of the product (Nosk)

·       Filters hazardous minute substances without causing any breathing barriers.

·      Suitable for outdoor and indoor activities.

·      Does not have to wear mask to cover half of your face to filter the air we breathe as Nosk is very soft , light and easy to wear.

·       It is very handy to bring with us everywhere as it is packaged in a simple small box.

·      The colour is transparent. So, it looks almost invisible on us and it is suitable at any occasions; meeting, weddings and etc.

·     The product is considered cheap (which is around RM12 per box which contains 2 pieces of Nosk each box)

·      Nosk are reusable, it is recommended washing after 8 hours of use for 8-16 times until the filter is becoming too soft or torn.

2) Services that we provide

·      We will do the delivery by ourselves or by post.

·      We can do the enquiries answer through calls or online.

·     Since the product is originated from Korea , when the product arrive in our country , we can be the middle persons who are going to get that product from airport to the selected stores where people can conveniently purchase them.

Customer Segment

1) Market Target

·        Factory and construction companies.

We choose factory and construction site workers as our main customer target because this group of people might be the ones who needed protection the most in this matter as they are exposed to hazardous chemicals in the air almost all the time during their working hours.

2) Match Target

·        Asthmatic people

In order to prevent them from getting asthmatic attack at any time, they can use Nosk to breathe a secure and clean air.

·        Athletes

Athletes usually spend most of their time doing outdoor activities than indoor activities such as jogging, running, cycling, and etc. Even at gymnasium, they cannot ensure the air they breathe in is clean enough to maintain their health especially during their competition.

·        Students

While walking beside the streets or waiting for a bus in order to go to their classes, students are eventually being exposed to polluted air especially for those who lives in city. Where smokes from vehicles are everywhere. Therefore, for students to be more confident about their health before examination, Nosk can be a big help.       

A little Introduction on our Business Plan : NOSK

The product that we chose is a newly invented product which is originated from Korea. It will be very helpful   if it is widely used among people in our country as it is a form health consciousness.
Therefore our main goal is to get this product popular in our country since we intend to become the dealer and distributor for NOSK.

Third problem and solution

Problem:

Wires.. wires.. and wires.. Why cant it be wireless?

Sometimes, in our busy schedule, there will be a situation where we need to do two works at once for example, we need to talk to our clients through the phones for hours while doing house chores or something else. The problem arise when our phone is out of battery, we have to charge our phone at one place and thats it ; we cant move to anywhere because of that charger wire is connected to the wall plug.

Besides, wires are easily damaged when it is being pulled hard as the metal threads inside the wire can easily be broken. Thats the reason why sometimes we cannot hear a sound through our earphones or headphones.

Solution:

Wireless

Wireless network refers to any type of device network that is not connected to any cables. Nowdays, it is proven that we can get internet connection by using wireless network and not using any cables anymore. Perhaps, the same concept can be applied to other devices such as battery charger, headphones, earphones, and other electronic devices.

Now is where the action starts!

The business model canvas, is a strategic management and entrepreneurial tool that allows you to describe design, challenge, invent, and pivot your business model.

First learning in Entrepeneurship class (11/10/2012)

How do we feel?

1.  We are becoming confident to speak out our minds as we are allowed to speak freely in our class under Ms Zen's teachings.
2. We are happy to have a spontaneous session with our lecturer as she implement a "No-note takings" system in class as she wants us to think and speak creatively and spontaneously.
3. Through her mindful speech and her skills in teachings, we are becoming excited to learn on how to posses the intrepeneurship skills which she said, will bring a lot of benefit to us in future.

How can we benefit from this class?

1. First of all, we are thought on how to plan a business properly and deeply, therefore we can use the details to start up our business at a young age.
2. Our confident level increased as we practices to speak out during the idea sharing moments in class. This kind of confident is essential for us to deal with various people in future and projects as well as interviews.

Second problem and solution

Problem:

Air Pollution

The air we breathe in everyday is actually the cause of  illness we usully having. Headahe, breathing difficulties, high fever and etc but do we ever noticed it? This major problem is what we usually overlooked.
Wealth is health. Without a healthy body, our productivity in daily life is decreased. In this world of modernisation and globalisation, air pollution is increasing rapidly each day. Gases from cars, chemicals from factories, and viruses are potential cause to most f diseases that sometimes can even causes death.

Solution:

NOSK

If we just use normal mask which cant filter most of gas particles, its useless. The current mask is uncomfortable by coveringup half a face. Do we have to live in such a way?

Therefore, why suffer when we have NOSK?

NOSK is a Personal Air Filteration System thet is clinically proven to reduce the inhalation of pollutants and allergens by over 80%. NOSK is constructed with twin soft nasal filters that gently slip into the nostrils that are held in place by a thin translucent plastic strip, virtually invisible to those around you.

Reflection: What have we learnt in Basic Entrepeneurship Culture course?

We learnt that by figuring out basic daily problem, even the smallest problem, one can come up with an idea that can be turned into a business. Sometimes, silly ideas are possible to actually exist in future. For example, back in the 90's, we didnt even dare to imagine that one day a touchscreen phones and wireless network would exist.

An idea for certain problems is a solution to encounteer that particular problems. By using our critical thinking into our problem deeply to its roots, we will be able to point out various ideas that can solve our problems in numerous ways. Among those ideas, the best one will be picked out and developed as well as finding ways to encounter the disadvantages to the solution idea to reduce imperfection.

Problem statement and Solution

Problem:

Class Attendance System

In most of universities in Malaysia, attendance system is by using the old way that is using the attendance list. In these modern days, the number of students in universities are getting bigger each year. Therefore, many problems arises when it comes to signing the attendance list ( confirming our attendance). When attendance sheets are being passed around starting from the first row in the lecture hall, the students sitting behind could not get the sheets on time. As the consequence, at the end of every lecture, students have to line up just to sign their names in the attendance list which we think the system is inefficient. As the result from this matter, students tend to get late in their next lecture.

Besides, with this current attendance system, students who like to skip classes will end up getting away without any penalties as they can ask their friends to sign for them. We believe this will affect their results in examination as well as giving a lot of problems to the student affairs management to track down students who skip classes.

Solution:

Student ID Scanner

A system of scanning students matrix card is introduced not long ago. Since one of  the rules in our university is to carry student's id card everywhere within campus which is compulsory for every student, so there will be no cheating when attendance is taken and it is more efficient. There should be student id card scanner for every entrance in lecture hall so that student can scan in and scan out every time they go through the entrance. Besides, the student management can check a proper record of students' attendance through the scanner without any mistakes.
